“I’m Here and I Am Queer”. Queer Teacher Identities in ELT. A Colombian Study

There has been a significant upsurge of research regarding gender and its connection to teacher professional identity. In this paper, we adopt decolonial stance document how the queer identities pedagogies two teachers English resist colonial notions being doing within Language Teaching (elt) setting. This study regards identity as political mechanism that structured in terms relations domination. addition, it explores these structures by employing coloniality axe analyse categories elt field. To do this, used narrative approach voice personal constructions gendering discourses about pedagogies. Findings suggest construct negotiate their settings own performativities classroom shape epistemologies teaching practices.
